Midwinter Magic with The Gerwick Puppets

January 9, 2:00pm in Memorial Hall

"Midwinter Magic" is about a boy and girl who decide that on the longest night of the year, the Winter Solstice, they will stay up all night.  They are sure that on such a special night there are bound to be many magical things happening.  They want to see it all for themselves!

This original story by THE GERWICK PUPPETS combines the reality of children's excitement with the fantasy of their dreams.  There are many experimental and whimsical puppets in this production.  Selections from "Snowflakes Are Dancing" by Claude Debussy accompany much of the show.  "Midwinter Magic" lasts forty-five minutes and is intended for ages four and up.

Sponsored by the Friends of Memorial Hall Library.  Admission is free.  No registration required.
