Please come out and show your support for these disaster relief projects, which will be ongoing for years to come.

Guest speakers: Mark Schorr, Executive Director of the Robert Frost Foundation, and Dr. Marguerite Guzman Bouvard, Resident Scholar at Brandeis University, who will discuss the cultural importance of poetry in healing and human rights.

Local and regional writers: Kathy Aponick, Champa Bilwakesh, Tim Cremin, Tara L. Masih, Helena Minton, Thomas Mofford, Amy Ouzoonian, editor of In the Arms of Words, Peggy Rambach, Ravi Shankar, poet-in-residence at Central Connecticut State University, Jim Warner, and Greg Waters will all read from two poetry anthologies benefiting disaster relief, along with their own work. An open mike will follow. The books will be available for purchase, and donations will be accepted.

The Merrimack Literary Review, a local literary anthology, will also be available for purchase, with proceeds from that night's sales going to disaster relief.
