The joys of being in the antiquarian
book business and the history of the
venerable book store and some of the
remarkable finds that have been
retained. Ken will have some examples of
share with the audience.
Following the presentation, Ken will
give free verbal appraisals of the books
that members of the audience have
brought with them.
Ken has appeared as an appraiser on
PBS's
Antiques
Roadshow, as an expert witness
for the Federal Prosecutor in Boston and
as a guest on numerous radio and
television shows.
Ken Gloss lectures all around New
England on the value of your old books.
He also writes columns on rare books and
on collecting for several antique
journals.
