How to save your old wood windows

The window seminar is planned to be a fun and informative day, not only demonstrating the tools and tricks you need to preserve and restore wood windows, but also explaining why your old wood windows are less expensive, more appropriate architecturally, and more energy efficient than replacement windows. We will talk about why the old windows are so great and then with actual examples, remove them, remove putty, broken glass and paint, and go through the steps to bring them back to being attractive, smoothly operating and draft free complements to your home. Participants will go home with a list of resources and will observe first hand: safe removal, paint removal, glass cutting, puttying, weight replacement, wood preservation, and draft prevention.
