Capt. Skip Montello will discuss the
fantastic “World Class” salmon and trout
fishery in Western New York and the
small creeks and rivers that these
giants of Lake Ontario invade during the
fall, winter, and spring each year to
procreate. Skip will also show a photo
slide show highlighting his favorite
creek, Oak Orchard.

Capt. Eric "Hairball" Stapelfeld has
been fishing the Cape and the Vineyard
for over 26 years with his own custom
designed Hairball Lures. Learn how he
catches striped bass measuring over 40
inches on a daily basis.

Director and island resident James
Waldron will present his documentary
film exploring the culture of fishing on
Plum Island. Shot over two years, the
film follows a number of people out and
around the island and listens to their
motivations, idiosyncrasies, histories,
and love for the sport.
