evening of after-hours fun at Memorial
Hall Library.
Wear your favorite 1940s-era costume
or your red, white, and blue!
The USO Liberty Bells will perform World
War II era hit music and patriotic
favorites at 6:30 pm (first floor), 7:15
pm (Children's Room), and 8:00 pm
(Hall).
The USO Liberty Bells are part of an
American tradition that goes back almost
70 years to muddy camp shows in the
South Pacific. Today, the troupe
consists of professional Broadway and
off-Broadway performers who have
appeared in Les Miserables, Hairspray,
The Sound of Music, and Cirque de
Soleil.
The Libery Bells are:
KRISTIN MULLIGAN originally hails from Seattle, WA and graduated from Concordia University. Favorite performances are Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Into The Woods (Cinderella), Guys And Dolls (Sarah), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), and Seussical (Gertrude). Kristin is also regularly seen on TV, most recently starring in the national commercial for Keurig coffee brewers as the "Way to Brew" girl.
ALIX PAIGE most recently played "Eliza Doolittle" opposite Broadway legend Terrence Mann in
My Fair Lady and has also starred in the National Tours of
Cabaret and Irving Berlin's I Love A Piano. Alix is the creator and star of her own one-woman Jazz-Cabaret entitled
A Paige on Men: Songs of Love, Lust, and Loss which ran at The Metropolitan Room in New York City.
HEIDI-MARIE FERREN is a country and gospel recording artist who has performed with Patti LaBelle, Lee Greenwood, and Tony Orlando. Some of her credits include Disneyland, entertaining at President Clinton's inauguration, and the Nashville Palace. Heidi is also an actress most recently seen playing Wonder Woman on HBO's
Bored to Death.

Duckling in the Hall at 6:30 pm.
The Fairy Tale Players will present Hans
Christian Anderson's story of a homely
bird who sees he's different from the
rest of his family. He meets other
colorful characters who try to teach him
their habits. To his delight and
surprise, he matures into a beautiful
swan. All are welcome.
The
Friends of Memorial Hall Library
will hold a fundraiser raffle on the
first floor throughout the evening. Buy
your tickets, and enter to win a Kindle
or other prize basket. Drawings will be
held at 8:45 pm.
