48 Central StreetHow to Research Your Historic House

January 14, 2014 at 7:00 pm

Bill Veillette, Executive Director of the Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC), will lead a session on documentary house research. Using the Col. Robert Means house (1785) in Amherst, NH, he will demonstrate the variety of information sources available on historic houses, provide tips on how to approach your research, and offer examples of how to 'connect the dots' to create a compelling story of your historic house and its occupants. You’ll learn the connection between the Amherst house and 48 Central St. in Andover.

Sponsored by the Friends of MHL.
