Supporting the library has never been
easier. Now you can make a donation to
the Friends of Memorial Hall Library
quickly and conveniently by clicking the
above button. All such donations are
secure, private, tax-deductible, and
help enormously in maintaining the
Library's ability to provide quality
programs and services.
Mission:
To encourage public support for and
interest in Memorial Hall Library, which
derives its principal financial support
from municipal and philanthropic monies.
To encourage gifts, endowments, and
memorials for public library purposes.
To foster awareness and use of
Memorial Hall Library, and to encourage
the donation of time and assistance by
townspeople to the library.
What do
the Friends do?
The Friends provide special programs
and services that expand and enrich the
library's regular budget. These "extras"
include concerts, readings, speakers,
children's programs,
museum passes, materials, and
equipment. For example, the Friends sponsor Jazz in the
Hall, fast becoming an Andover
tradition.
Why join
the Friends?
Your membership demonstrates to the
community that you feel that the library
is an important institution in the life
of Andover. As a Friend, you can limit
your involvement to a yearly
contribution, or you can become as
active as you like in the Friends'
fund-raising and cultural activities.
Some Friends organize
book
sales, some plan programs, some
volunteer for special projects in the
library.

join:
