Kick-off Andover Reads with an explosion of big band music from the 1930s and 1940s!  Grab your dancing shoes for a must-attend evening!  The Beantown Swing Orchestra represents swing music as it really was during its heyday: exciting and performed by hip young musicians.  This 18-piece orchestra played in the movie My Best Friend’s Girl starring Kate Hudson!

Nationally-renowned singer-songwriter Erin McKeown will be the Beantown Swing Orchestra’s special guest vocalist for this evening!

Space is limited.  Tickets are $25 ($20 for Friends’ members), and proceeds benefit the Friends of Memorial Hall Library.  Tickets are on sale at Memorial Hall Library.

Swing dance lessons provided before the concert at 6:30 pm.  Come early to learn some dance moves!

The evening will also include silent auctions, refreshments, and a cash bar.
