Andover resident Kathe Tuttman, a prosecutor in the Essex County District Attorney's Office, became a Superior Court Judge in May of 2006 an appointee of Governor Romney. In November of 2007, Governor Romney called for her to resign after she freed Daniel Tavares Jr. on his own recognizance.
