The original proposal for the Andover Public Safety Center included plans to improve or rebuild other plant and facilities, public works buildings, and the West Andover Fire StationSelectman decided to withdraw these  and focus on only a Safety Center. On Monday, April 26, 1999 Andover townspeople approved Article 16 for a $12.9 million dollar proposal for a new Safety Center.

During a snowstorm parking ban, there is no parking allowed on any streets in town. The only exceptions are public safety, public works and public utility vehiclesVehicles that are parked illegally will be towed at the owner's expense.

Snowstorm parking bans are announced on the town's two public access television stations (Comcast Channel 22 and Verizon Channel 45) and posted on the town's website at www.andoverma.gov. Residents may also call the Highway Department at 978-623-8426 x11 to find out if a ban has been declared.

During a snowstorm parking ban, there is no parking allowed on any streets in town. The only exceptions are public safety, public works and public utility vehicles. Vehicles that are parked illegally will be towed at the owner's expense.
