The Dress Barn opened in 1987 and operated for the next 14 years in the Shawsheen Plaza. The facility was too small to house the Dress Barn combo store which carries sizes 4 - 24. The Andover store carried sizes 4-14, no longer a profitable model.
Residents of Andover, North Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, Haverhill, and other Merrimack  Valley towns have played the game for decades.
