The Friends of Andover Tennis is a private group whose mission is to support the tennis teams of Andover High School.
The purchase of the Reichhold Chemical Plant property along the Shawsheen River brought the acreage of conservation land in Andover to over 2000 acres.
Beginning in 2011, the group hopes to raise $100,000 to resurface the tennis courts at Andover High School and to then ask 2013 Town Meeting for the balance, estimated to be another $100,000.
