| She won the Robert Frost Award for her poem "Sheepdog Trials at Bleinau Ffestiniog" and is also the winner of a Robert Penn Warren Award. She was a finalist for the T. S. Eliot Prize of Truman State University and won the Richard Wilbur Award for "Dream with Flower and Bowl of Fruit".
