Several of Howard Ames Coon's (1890-1997) watercolors hang in Memorial Hall Library, [http://www.mhl.org/art including Benjamin Abbot's Homestead Rose Cottage and Ballardvale]. Coon studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and painted both watercolors art oil.
Ed Parker, a nationally recognized illustrator, primitive artist, and folk artist, was a 1964 graduate of Andover High School. He later went to Massachusetts College of Art.

Ed Parker, a nationally recognized illustrator, primitive artist, and folk artist, was a 1964 graduate of Andover High School. He later went to Massachusetts College of Art.
