There was an explosion at Bodycote IMT, a metal processing plant on 155 River Street, Andover on July 25, 1998. "One of seven pressurized steel vessels that process metal for the aeronautics and automotive industry, using argon gas" exploded.  The vessel is "a cylinder of forged steel, weighing about 140 tons, standing about 12 feet tall with a diameter of 9 feet."
