is dedicated to former Selectman Edward Harris and his son George Rice Harris. Both men were veterans who remained active with service to the town after discharge from the military.

The flagpole in front of the Andover Town Offices originally dedicated only to Edward Harris, a veteran who served in the army for 30 year and later an Andover Selectman, was rededicated in August of 2007. A plaque was added to the flagpole with the names of Edward Harris and his son George Rice Harris. George, also a veteran, remained active with service to the town after his discharge from the military just as his father had.
