A mural of General Lafayette greeting the people of Andover was painted by local Andover artist, William Abbott Cheever (1907-1986), in 1956. The mural was restored in 1994.  Owned by the Andover Historical Society, it is on loan to the town and on display in the selectman's meeting room in the town offices.

Artist Cheever worked as a portrait painter, illustrator and muralistHe was also an alumni of and studio instructor at Phillips Academy.  The mural is 41 1/2" x 89 1/2".
*They have also created basketball court surfaces used in NCAA tournaments, basketball courts in China and the outdoor track at North Andover High School.
 
*On June 9, 2008 the company had a major shift in upper managementThe company welcomed Peter Longo into the role of Chief Executive Officer and Steven McMenamin took over as Chief Financial Officer.  The two positions were previously held by Joe Junkin and Joseph DeAngelis respectively, who will stay on as members of the California Products board of directors.
 
*The company's division known as DecoTurf is lead by managing director John Graham.
