Authors Among Us: Champa Bilwakesh

Champa Bilwakesh

On Wednesday, December 2 at 7pm in Friends Alcove 2, Andover author Champa Bilwakesh will discuss her book, Desire of the Moth. Champa was born in India and earned her MFA from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers. Her fiction has been published in Kenyon Review, Monsoon Magazine, Sugar Mule, and India Current, where it won prizes in the Katha contest. Her story “The Boston Globe Personal Line” was nominated for the Ploughshares Emerging Writers Contest, received honorable mention in the 2007 edition of Pushcart Prize, and has been translated into Italian for the online magazine, El-Ghibli.
