Renew a Book
You can now do this yourself directly
through the
library catalog. You will
need your borrower ID (library card
number entered without spaces or dashes)
and your pin number (last four digits of
your phone number) to log in. If you want
to change your pin number, bring ID to
the Circulation Desk and we will be able
to change it for you. Online renewals
must be requested on or before the
items' due dates. After the due date an
item must be brought into the library to
renew.
After you get to the library
catalog, just click on My Account Login,
log yourself in, and then go to Checked
Out / Renew. From
there you can renew your items.
You will not be able
to renew these items:
- Items already overdue
(you can bring these items
into
the library for a renewal up to
10-12 days after the due date)
- Items on reserve
for other patrons
- Feature film and TV
DVDs (may be renewed in person but
not online)
- Items that have
already been renewed once
- If your card is
"delinquent" (if you owe
bills or over $10 in fines to
any library in MVLC)
