Item Hold

Request an item in the library catalog that is either part of a multivolume set or is an individual issue of a magazine.

Use this form only to request a book or other item that you cannot successfully reserve for yourself directly through the library catalog.

For technical reasons, there are certain items that are in the library catalog but you can't successfully request for yourself, even though there is a Request Item button. Even though you make the request, when you check your patron info, the item will not be listed as a hold request. Use this online form to request these items. These items are usually individual issues of a magazine or parts of a multivolume set.

We will only reply to your e-mail if for some reason we can't place your loan request. When the item is available, we will send you a hold notice. Unless you specify otherwise in the instructions, the pickup location is Memorial Hall Library.
