Interested in our Girls Who Code program? We are getting ready for our 2017-2018 session and will be hosting the following information sessions:

  • Monday, August 21 at 3:00pm in the Teen Room

These information sessions are for girls entering grades 6 - 12 and their parents who might be interested in applying for our GWC club. Because this is such a popular program and it runs for most Saturdays from October to June, we do have an application that must be filled out online here. Because of space restraints we also must cap the program at 12 participants.

Students must apply by 9:30am on Friday, August 25 and we will notify students who are accepted into the program at 10:00am that same day. The first day of the club will be Saturday, September 30 from 9:30am to 11:30am.

The sessions are also great for community members who may be interested in becoming our instructor. If you're interested in hearing about what being the GWC instructor entails, please contact Anna Tschetter at atschetter@mhl.org or 978-623-8432. The Girls Who Code website has a lot of good information about the clubs in general and for people who are interested in becoming an instructor. For more information about being an instructor at MHL.
