Themes: Architectual, community development, education.

Red building on property probably earlier West District Schoolhouse -even traces of bell tower structure. Neither phyical nor documentary evidence supports this. B. Thibault & James Batchelder June 1991, see West Center District School files. Local history also associates the roof propition as a light well for the wing when it was used as an artist 's studio in the earlt 20th cent.
