Style: Colonial Revival

Other features: perpendicular roof gables; fašade had balustrated entry porch with Ionic columns; columned side porch; overhanging 2d & 3rd stories; exterior chimney on left side.

Voluminous mass distinguished by cross gables, elegant porches. Restrained design is complemented by naturalistic setting.
Unusual appearance of this period in mid-20th century surroundings.
Second house of the Hinton family. House built in 1905; barn built in 1902. Hinton's Ice Cream Farm from 1877 - 1922.
