Find a book not listed in our catalog

Most people find the books they want in our online catalog, which allows you to request and place holds on items owned by the 35 public libraries that make up the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC). But if the title you're after isn't there, the following options might help.

  1. Find it in the Virtual Catalog

The Massachusetts Virtual Catalog allows you to search for items owned by libraries across the state of Massachusetts. If MVLC does not have an item available you may request it be sent to one of the MVLC libraries for pickup.

  2. Request it through our Interlibrary Loan Service

If the title you want cannot be borrowed through the MVLC catalog or the Massachusetts Virtual Catalog, fill out this form and we will try to find a library that has it and is willing to let us borrow it.

  3. Suggest a title for purchase

If there is a title you would like Memorial Hall Library to add to its collection, let us know by filling out this form.

For help with any of this, or to contact us directly, feel free to use our Ask a Librarian service.
