Sisters in Crime Mystery Writers Panel: The Modern Heroine

Mystery authors, Julie Hennrikus (aka Julianne Holmes), Frances McNamara, and Clea Simon, will discuss how women are revamping the mystery genre by creating strong women characters who balance relationships and careers, leap over sexist obstacles, and rescue themselves from danger. Copies of their books will be available for purchase.

Sisters in Crime New England is a chapter of the international organization Sisters in Crime. They are authors, readers, publishers, agents, booksellers and librarians bound by their passion for the mystery genre and their support of women who write mysteries. They welcome Sisters and Brothers in Crime from anywhere who have an interest in the New England mystery community. Pictured are Frances McNamara, Clea Simon, and Julie Hennrikus. Sponsored by the Friends of MHL.
