Who are the Friends of MHL, and what do they do? The Friends are people like you--library patrons, community members, and others who value a vibrant public library and all that it provides. The Friends organize four book sales a year to raise money to supplement the library's town-funded budget, so that we can offer free programs and projects for all ages. Membership dues help, too. Joining the Friends for as little as $10 or $15 helps fund free concerts, author visits, gardening programs, children's story times, teen poetry night, and much more. To celebrate National Library Week, the Friends will be giving out packets of butterfly garden seeds this week. We invite you to "Grow with Us" and join the Friends of MHL.
