Have you ever wanted to learn to row? Now's your chance! Sign up for one of the two rowing workshops we're offering on Saturday, June 11 at the Essex Rowing Club, 656 Lowell Street in Methuen. Session 1 is 10am-12:30pm, and Session 2 is 2pm-4:30pm. The cost is $10 per person (ages 13 & up) per session. Register by clicking on the session or call 978-623-8401, x31. Participants age 13-18 must be accompanied by an adult. Drop off your payment to the library or mail to Attn: Stefani Traina, Memorial Hall Library 2 N. Main Street, Andover, MA 01810. Please register by June 7th. The sessions will begin inside where you'll get a feel for rowing on the rowing machines, then head outside and learn about the boats. The day will end on the river where you will experience the team work and coordination it takes to win an Olympic medal.
