Attend a community workshop on Thursday, December 10 at 7pm, and share your ideas for opportunities to create a Shawsheen River Greenway. Heather McMann of Groundwork Lawrence will describe their experience creating the Spicket River Greenway, a 3.5 mile long "emerald bracelet" of green spaces and walking paths connecting parks and open space through multiple neighborhoods. This program is a collaboration of Memorial Hall Library, LWV of Andover/North Andover, Andover Historical Society, Andover Green Advisory Board, Andover High School Environmental Sustainability Internship Course, Andover Tomorrow, and the Shawsheen River Greenway Task Force.
